Contentsthanks for card from Naples; has no addresses, does not want to write to Palermo as she thinks that they have left by now; spent Sunday at Kösterberg with Marietta's son Jan [Peter Jan Braden]; Lemkes left Orta for Venice, because the weather was so bad; Frede is very happy in Paris; Jan was very well behaved at Kösterberg; she saw a performance of Eva's [Warburg] play for the children's charity, really well done; on 03/05/1934 she will attend a house concert at Mittelweg [Eva Warburg's house], to raise funds for a summer trip for Eva's children's charity; Russian folksongs, violin quartet; Dr. Hans Köster has presented Peter Paul Braden with a few bottles of wine, in gratitude for a treatment; Jan dictates a letter to his mother [Marietta]: he was at Kösterberg on Sunday, 29/04/1934 and rode his bicycle until the bicycle broke; they went home on the railway; Mary continues on 02/05/1934: thanks for cards from Palermo of 28/04/1934; they spent May 1st at home, in the garden, watching birds build a nest, helping them; sends greetings to Taormina, Etna, the theatre
