Contents	thanks him for the note on the sculptor [F.A.] Bartholdi; she forwarded Warburg's letter to Professor [Hans] Mackowsky; they cannot find any literature on Bartholdi; mentions article in 'Chronique des Arts'; they do have American art journals, from the Metropolitan Museum, Worcester etc; mentions the very large card index in the Zurich Stadtbibliothek which lists all books in all Zurich public libraries - if only such a catalogue existed for Berlin!; is sorry she could not be of more use to Warburg because Warburg's queries about Bartholdi touch upon an artist who is too recent for the Königliche Museen
