Contentsis pleased that Max L. Strack has such a good prognosis for Warburg and Mary; she has written to John [Johann Nicolaus Hertz] to forward Warburg's letter so that she can hand it to her father; she is very sure that her father will say the same thing as Warburg's father, he has gone as far as he can; whether he will still permit Warburg to visit them in England, is debatable; she still cannot quite accept that Warburg and Mary will have to get married without Warburg's father's permission; her father gave his permission on the condition that Warburg's father would give his consent; she repeats that they have to get through these difficulties, she hopes that they can do so without causing ill feeling on both sides; they should not look for obstacles; she has 'buried a great lump of love' and knows that it is still there; if Warburg does not find it, then nobody else will find it; she knows that both of them love each other, they are not made of ice, they are just terribly well-behaved children and will forget their good grooming in time
