Contentshe has found a solution, he has rented a room in Dr. Sillem's house (49 Heilwigstrasse) as studio for Mary Warburg; he wants to start a correspondence with Max on the idea of a lecture; relates what happened in the last meeting of the Kuratorium der wissenschaftlichen Stiftung, [Werner] von Melle degrades it systematically so that is becomes a tool of the Oberschulbehörde; an evening with Fritz Bendixen; criticises the Richard Muther lecture about Max Liebermann ('eine lederne professoralsmessianische Similibrillanten-Ausstellung'); he received a very appreciative letter by Max Weber which gave him moral support; if that did not happen from time he time he would have long gone to America
