[Bendixen?] re [Felix] von Eckardt; von Eckardt was not antisemitic, his grandfather David, a violinist, was Jewish; he takes Ballin's sides, he fights for [Maximilian] Harden, which does not make him an antisemite; von Eckardt like B. show esteem for the Jewish aristocracy while at the same time moving away from the poorer sections of the community; Warburg does not know what happened in a public restaurant at the ferry, but advises von Eckardt to be more prudent when speaking in public and asks Max to tell him so
