Schmid finally found out that the bundle of papers was delivered to Warburg's hotel; since a receipt was not issued and the papers were not handed to Warburg, Warburg holds the hotel responsible for the loss; Warburg requests compensation from the hotel; urges Berolzheimer to supply invoices etc. so that Warburg can start working on the accounts; he thinks that the restaurant in Landshut should not be paid for out of congress funds
