Contents	explains why he insists on the publication of the German translation together with the Arabic text of Picatrix just as Boll needed the translation of Abu Ma'shar by Karl Dyroff; only text and translation offer a document which is of help to comparative intellectual history; he therefore does not wish to publish the Arabic text without or before the German translation; it will help Hellmut Ritter more if they pursue their chosen way; asks him to finish the translation as fast as possible but also as conscientious as possible; 'we do not have the right to shake off the ethos of level-headedness' (='Besonnenheit', sophrosyne)
