Annunciata, was copied by Marzi, the second excerpt, the chronicle of Cerretani, by Warburg himself; asks Brockhaus for another excerpt, a passage in the manuscripts of Palagio where he mentioned that Paolo di Zanobi has made wax figures; thanks him for the information that the cameo of Pope Leo X. cannot be a cameo; agrees that it is a coin, the same that [Igino Benvenuto] Supino published; he will write to Lelli in this matter; how is Mrs. [Jessie] Hillebrand?; the Warburg family is fine, his father-in-law is still not well; André Jolles gave a very good lecture on 'The beginning of art' the previous day |
