| Contents | Warburg is happy that Robert Davidsohn, Jacques Dwelshauvers, Heinrich Brockhaus, Henry Thode have reacted positively to Warburg's article ['Bildniskunst']; has also heard very good comments from colleagues in Germany, notably Thode; uses van Eyck's motto 'Als ich khan' ['as I am able to']; he has not received the photographs from [Karl Graf] Lanckoronski yet; he will send his book to Lanckoronski; he will send a copy to [Igino Benvenuto] Supino and will therefore have to send a copy to Rudolfi in the library; he encloses four dedication sheets; Franz, the brother of Brockhaus, called on [Aby Warburg and Mary Warburg] but they were not at home, hopes that they can meet soon; thanks him for the information on Cristofani Spini; Doren's father died in the summer of 1901; hopes that Mrs. [Jessie] Hillebrand is getting better; thanks him again for his kind comments on his book |
