Contentson the illustrations for Warburg's article; thinks that Warburg might prefer photolitho illustrations from the frescoes in Arcetri to autotypy reproductions; hopes that Warburg is well and is working well after having moved from Hamburg, Hansastrasse to Hamburg, St. Benedictstrasse; Giovanni Poggi is Vienna, Miss Becker [Bianca Emilie Rohland-Becker, known as 'Milly'] has left, Brockhaus wants to go with his family to Forte for a few days; the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz has purchased the [Pasquale Augusto] Bigazzi reference copy with entries from 1893-1902; [G. B.] Sebastiani of the library is prepared to continue with making entries; [Emil?] Jacobs, of Royal Library in Berlin, has been asked to be the German editor but has not yet confirmed the appointment; [A.] Mannelli [e comp.] has made large photographs of the windows in the cupola of the cathedral, some of them made with the help of Dr. [Gustav?] Ludwig's telephoto lens; the result is good, but still not good enough for a publication, the windows appear to be black; complains about the heat in Florence
