Contentsrefers to Warburg's letter of 11/12/1909, re Hugo Vogel; following Beindorff's conversation with Warburg in Heligoland, Beindorff warned the mayor of Hanover about the 'Berlin painter' [Hugo Vogel]; the mayor agreed with Beindorff and the commission was not given to Vogel; however, the architect Baurat Eggert, who had been appointed by the city, proved very difficult; the collaboration came to an end over the interior decoration of the Hanover townhall; a new architect had been appointed, Baurat Wallot; Wallot, however, is too ill to submit his own designs, he can only oversee the work being done; hopes to appoint a modern painter for painting the reception rooms in the townhall; cannot understand how it is possible that Vogel still has supporters in Hamburg
