Contentsthanks him for letter of 16/01/1912; sends his condolences on the passing of Saxl's father [Ignaz]; thanks him for Saxl sending him a copy of the Schmidt-Degener book [on Rembrandt]; returns the copy, as he had has ordered one from his bookshop; he was busy reviewing Swedish books on art history; is pleased to read that Saxl likes Kruse's review of [Oscar] Levertin's 'Jacques Callot'; wants to publish it in German, possibly in 'Graphische Künste'; is [Gustav] Glück still the editor?; could Saxl write a short note in a newspaper?; Kruse met [Carl] Milles at a dinner of 'Freunde des Nationalmuseums'; rates Milles a very good artist; Kruse has also met Wettergren, an actor, who is not getting enough acting roles; the weather was very cold, his son Goran suffered from frostbite in the cheeks; enjoys watching the children on their sledges; likes walking on the ice, skating, ice yachting; two of the Sisters Wiesenthal were in Stockholm, danced Strauß and Lanner waltzes; the day before the performance Kruse guided them through the National museum; Max Lehrs knows them and had written to Kruse to do something for them; Lehrs sent him a little booklet with his poems about the Sisters Wiesenthal; has Saxl published his Larsson article?
