| Contents | apologizes for replying to Warburg's letter of 23/03/1915 so late; [Max] Dvorak had to remind him twice; thanks Warburg for his offer to supply research findings in connection with Carl Giehlow's 'Melencolia I'; is very pleased if he may ask Warburg for advice; the two versions [article and book] of Giehlow's research have been published by [österreichische] Staatsdruckerei; the Staatsdruckerei, however, is so short staffed and so busy that even the publications of the 'Gesellschaft für vervielfältigende Kunst' are printed with considerable delay; a large part of the Giehlow 'Melencolia I' book has been prepared for printing; the book will be published by the 'Gesellschaft', Weixlgärtner is the secretary of the 'Gesellschaft'; because Giehlow and Weixlgärtner were friends, he has taken it upon himself to edit the book and see it through printing |
