Contentsthanks her for a present to Heinz [her son]; encloses Warburg's letter of 09/03/1921; she has replied, tried to calm him down by writing that Mrs. [Brandis] has personally accompanied Mary Warburg to Marie Zakezewska [in Berlin] and that Betty [Elisabeth Maria] could not come to Jena as she had to keep a dentist appointment; she would have liked to meet Mary Warburg in Jena; she replied to the cable of the doctor that she was unable to visit Warburg because she had house guests; Georg, Ellen and Ursula had come to attend the confirmation service of Heinz, she could not visit Warburg on the Sunday, 13/03/1921; her husband Ernst can only stay until the next day so that it was not possible for Betty to visit Warburg; apologizes that she is bad a telling lies, that she might have contradicted what Mary had told Warburg; Warburg was very agitated, she blames the medical doctor treating Warburg; she is prepared to visit Warburg but needs to be briefed beforehand what she is allowed to say about the travel arrangements; she really enjoyed having Mary visit her in Naumburg; Marie Zakezewska was the manager of a hospital in Cuxhaven and ran a large field hospital during the war; Betty will visit Mary in Hamburg soon
