Contentshe has been in the sanatorium for four weeks, following a bad flu; he will leave Glotterbad and walk to Gutenbach, Triberg, Bodensee where he will stay another 10 days; he enjoyed the company in Glotterbad, Wilhelm Kiesselbach and his wife, frequently visited by their eldest son Theodor in Freiburg; he also enjoyed the company of a funny merchant from Mannheim, a lawyer from Berlin; the stay is not cheap but he as head of the family has to look after his health; he does not read newspapers, he reads only a little, Eduard Meyer's 'Anfänge und Ursprung des Christentums', Köhler's 'Martin Luther und die deutsche Reformation', a present of Warburg's; his family is fine, [Wilhelm's son] Hans is 18, interested in Archive studies, the two girls are very well
