| Contents | thanks her for her congratulations on the honorary doctorate for Loeb; the award came out of the blue, his wife Tony and he himself are pleased about it; two weeks ago Mary's nephew, Wilhelm [Wilhelm Adolph Hertz], visited Loeb; finds him a charming young man; seeing him one cannot doubt Germany's future; also Franz Boll and his wife visited Loebs; Boll's friendship of Warburg is touching; hopes that Warburg will return home soon; rarely a day passes when he does not think of Warburg; his sister-in-law, Eda Loeb, is with him in Murnau at present; they make music together; in August they expect the visit of Friedafllx and their sons; he and Tony send greetings |
