| Contents | 'Schwexe' [pun on 'Schwester' = 'Nurse' and 'Hexe' = 'witch'] has arrived safely in Kreuzlingen; she is working in Villa Tannegg, but has her accomodation in Villa Maria; Ludwig and his wife and Dieterle [Dietrich Binswanger] met her in Gartenhaus, Dieterle spoke of Warburg as 'Offessor'; Binswangers were very pleased to get the good news from Hamburg; Lydia also spoke with [Heinrich] Embden [in Kreuzlingen] the previous day, who was very happy that Warburg was well; everybody who saw her in Kreuzlingen asked after Warburg and was happy to hear that he was well; the nursing staff in Tannegg wear white caps; a number of rooms are occupied in Villa Maria; Hirschfelds will move to Villa Roberta as [Hotel] Dolder is being renovated; a radio has been set up in Parkhaus, patients can listen to the radio by paying 20 Rappen; Mr. Hoffmann is still there; Lydia met Mrs. Bodmer and gave her Warburg's greetings and told her that he will send her a book; Gräfs expect a child; she has also visited Uhldingen, but has not eaten brown sauce; her family sends greetings to Warburg and Herrmann thanks Warburg for the book; Lydia sends her wishes to Warburg, confesses that it was hard for her to take leave from Warburg; thanks him for a sum of money and for the good time she had in Hamburg |
