Contentshe did not set sail for the US; his friend G. Pauli will bring her Warburg's greetings; he is disappointed for himself and for Bing and hopes to travel some time later; one positive aspect of the postponement of his trip was that 'my work on the surviving expressions of antiquity' ['mein Werk über {die} nachlebenden antikisierenden Ausdruckprägungen'] has been checked so that he can reckon with its publication in the foreseeable future; he has mounted in the large room of the library on some 80 mobile walls circa 1300 images to choose from for the accompanying Atlas; on his forthcoming trip to Italy he will complement his material; is sorry that Mr. P.E. Goddard has died; asks her to give his condolences to Boas; Warburg has not sent his paper for the congress, because his thought would have remained 'dead', if he had been unable to defend them then and there; greetings to Celia Nutton [recte: Zelia Nuttall], Mr. [J. Walter] Fewkes; could she find the address of Reverend H.R. Voth? letter is wrongly addressed to 'Gladys B. Reichard'
