Meyer on 17/04/1885, visit the bridegroom of his sister in Berlin, travel to Krefeld in order to meet Magda [is she his sister, Götz?]; describes Oscar as shortsighted, wearing glasses; he wants to do military service starting in the autumn, but Max does not think that he will be accepted because of his poor eyesight; he is a strong, healthy 20 year man; because of the Geographers' Day they have two days off school; repeats that Warburg has received invitations from [Richard] Schütt and Bolau; [Hermann] Segers requests return of Latin speech; thanks him for the definition of metempsychosis; it sounds an acceptable hypothesis to him |
