| Contents | immediately after her father having finished the Sabbath prayers and given them his blessing, she wants to write to him to clarify that the deceased Siegmund Schwarzschild is not the husband of Henny [Henny Schwarzschild?] but a much older gentleman, a member of the firm Schwab & Schwarzschild, not related to Henny's family; Moritz Warburg is back in Hamburg, Schiffs want to leave for Heringsdorf; Moritz Warburg spoke with his niece Anna Warburg who was still undecided about marrying [Martin Blumenfeld]; on 26/06/1890 Annie Schönfeld got married; Carl Elkan arranged it that Dr. B.[Blumenfeld] was Anna's partner at table, but one cannot gauge the feelings of this 'strange Russian girl'; no news from Max Warburg and Paul Warburg; old Mrs. Robinow has died, she was 80; advises him to write cards to Hermann Robinow [son?] and to Walter and Richard Robinow [grandsons?] and to Dr. Jaffé, Hamburg, Jungfernstieg 24; Charlotte is very happy with her life in Badenweiler, the air is so clean; the grandparents are fine, Olga is playing chess with grandfather; asks him to tear up the letter after having read it |
