Contentsshe has made up another food parcel for him, port wine, fruit, butter, caviar; Moritz Warburg was prescribed caviar to help him gain strength after the flu; the fish eggs seem to be a kosher foodstuff, since it has not been settled whether the fish, a sturgeon, has scales or not; Max has lost weight, but is well again; Max, Paul and Olga Warburg attended a dinner party at Julius Simon's; on 21/02/1892 they will attend a dinner party at Fürth's; uncle Moritz [Oppenheim] has sent cables and letters and is very impressed with the voyage; he will arrive in Alexandria on 26/02/1892; informs him that Eleanore Hallgarten has got engaged to Rudolf Liefmann; it is a miracle that she agreed to this engagement, as she was in love with Robert Götz, but 'courageous Alice' [Hallgarten] dissuaded Eleanore from marrying Götz, which would be stupid and 'without prospects'; asks him whether he has read Eugen Richter's 'Sozialdemokratische Zukunftsbilder'?; finds the brochure very interesting; reminds him to spend as much time as possible in the fresh air
