Contentsis happy that he enjoys riding and makes progress; she forwarded Warburg's letter to grandmother who does not expect him to write to her directly; Charlotte will keep his letters together in a folder, as she has done with Max Warburg's letters; did Otto Klink visit him?; Otto took with him port wine, letters, brochures etc. for Warburg; tells him that books arrived from Berlin, asks whether she should send them on to him; Max Warburg wrote from Vienna, that everybody in the Schiff family was well; Felix Warburg will come to Hamburg in the next week; as it is Schiller's birthday Fritz, Louise and Franziska will attend a performance of 'Wilhelm Tell'; tells him that Louise said that the sister of Mimi Schrader will marry a 'Christian rabbi', meaning a minister; [Gottschalk] Sander, the servant, is very sorry for Warburg doing military service; a new course will start in the Warburg house, every Saturday night there will be a history class on modern history; the teacher is Mr. Kein, who had been teaching Felix Warburg; Richard Robinow is in the Warburg house often, playing snooker, Walter also comes from time to time; Bertha Robinow, Alice Magnus, Elly Simon and Olga Warburg take classes in finery; the son of Mr. Isaak will have his Bar Mitzwah the next day; asks him to congratulate the father, mentions 'Rutschbahn' ['slide']
