Contentsreplies to Paul Warburg re [Adolph] Bayersdorfer: he accepted Warburg's interpretation of 'Primavera'; Warburg stopped in Verona only for a short while as the libraries were closed because of carneval festivities; in Florence he stayed in Hotel d'Italie; Alfred Doren visited him and took him to his hotel where Warburg moved to; the landlady is Mrs. [Anna] Petri; half board and accommodation cost Francs 6 per day which is very cheap; complains about the high entrance prices in Galleria; there are some 25 people in the hotel, 'unfortunately mostly women'; Canadians, English, Mrs. Hawk and daughter, Mrs. Knudtsen from Denmark, Major von Loegar and his wife from Dresden, Mrs. Eggers and Miss Rekemeyer from Bremen, Miss Woodman from America, a Portuguese man, Rudolf Meyer from Stuttgart; Warburg has visited Horace von Landau already; his library is excellent; when Warburg's parents will arrive in Florence in April, he will arrange for kosher catering; Warburg's trunks have arrived; he requests Mark 800; is pleased about the engagement of Alfred Löwengard with [Jenny] Kanitz
