Contents | Louise Rosenbacher's wedding will take place on 14/11/1894, address is [Prague], Mariengasse 39; Charlotte hopes that Warburg's trunks have arrived; Hedecke [should it be Hedicke, the shippers?] wrote that they do not know where to store the trunks as Warburg is not in Florence; has he received the keys?; August Herz has invited Warburg and Olga Warburg, on the recommendation of Mrs. [Thea?] Cohnheim [née Melchior], aunt of Marie Hertz's [Maria Elisabeth Hertz, 'aunt Marie'?], who met Warburg in Fanö; Olga sent apologies as she will accompany Charlotte to Louise's wedding in Prague; the Warburg family plan to stay only for one week in Prague; aunt Théophilie [Warburg] does not know anything about Felix's engagement yet; Felix will travel to London for three days, then on to Liverpool from where he will sail on 'Campania' to New York on 03/11/1894; Felix is very happy, the intended bride is truly 'a pearl'; forwards two of Frieda's letters to Warburg so that he can see how 'childlike and open' she is; Jacob Schiff's letters to Felix are very cordial and paternal; Aby S. Warburg and his wife Olga are very happy in their new apartment, it is really very tasteful; Aby S. makes himself important, calls him 'empty-headed'; aunt Théophilie [Warburg] will give a dinner dance party for Aby S. and Olga [Warburg] and for Elsa [Warburg] on 06/11/1894 and then travel to Vienna and from there to Menton; Bob [Martin] and Anna [Blumenfeld] have rented a house in Eppendorfer Chaussée; Bob has formed a partnership with Dr. Max Cohen, his friend, a very good solicitor; aunt Mali [Amalie Goldschmidt] is well, her cook Emma as well; aunt Rosa [Schiff] wrote that Warburg sent flowers to her and her daughter-in-law Mädi [wife of Maximilian Paul Schiff]; everybody sends greetings to Warburg; Felix adds good-bye, he is very well, only sad not having seen his brother before his trip to America |
