Contents | Olga and Paul left for Bremen on 'Saale', not on 'Trave'; they arrived safely in Southampton from where they sent a cable that everybody was well, signed by 'Polka', the latest signature for Paul [Warburg] and Olga [Warburg]; Paul Kohn-Speyer will sail with them from Southampton; Felix expects to meet Warburg in Genoa; the [Elisa Bulle-Rigutini] arazzo was admired by everybody; Professor [Emil?] Heilbut saw it as well and liked it very much except for the mouth which should have been smaller; L. Bock would have like to exhibit it longer; what did it cost?; Moritz [Schiff] wrote that they had a big themed party, the house was decorated to look like a beach; the previous day the wedding of Ella Goldschmidt [with Ludwig Nauen] took place; Max Warburg attended; Adolph [Goldschmidt] is in Hamburg and will stay for five weeks until Otto Goldschmidt's wedding [to Alice Hartoghs]; [Richard] Stettiner visited the Warburg family on 03/03/1895 as he thought that Warburg might be back in Hamburg |
