| Contents | acknowledges receipt of Paul's and Warburg's letter written during their voyage to New York; the voyage seems to have been quite rough; refers to a little accident in which Warburg was involved in the smoking room, hopes that he has recovered; is sure that he will like his stay in Rumson Road [Seabright, New Jersey]; Charlotte and Moritz Warburg returned from Frankfurt on 23/09/1895, only Max, Olga, Fritz and Ise [Loiuse Warburg] and Franziska [Jahns] are in the house with them; they will move back to the house in Mittelweg in October, after having celebrated all the Jewish holidays in Flottbeker Chaussée; Olga has put Warburg's books into Warburg's new bookcase in Mittelweg; Max will attend the New Year services in the Altona synagogue as he likes the services there; on 01/10/1895 the Warburg family will celebrate Paul's wedding with a big party; uncle Moritz [Oppenheim] will join them; aunt Théophilie [Warburg] has left for Vienna and Budapest; Helene and Charlotte [Schiff] and Miss [Lotty] Schroeder left and sent lovely letters from Baden; Frieda's mother Mamsie [Therese Schiff, née Loeb, daughter of Solomon Loeb and his first wife Fanny Loeb, née Kuhn; married to Jacob Schiff] has written to Charlotte; sends greetings to Loebs, Schiffs, Seligman |
