Contentshis friend and host Lieutenant. Bryan brought him letters from Albuquerque; he especially valued her letter; sends 'schrub-schrub' [kisses]; he only wished to receive a letter like hers every two weeks, she truly understands how to write letters; he is staying in Fort Wingate before his trip to the Zuni; hopes to return to Europe on the 'Bismarck' on 28/05/1896; he is looking forward to returning to Hamburg in two months; is pleased that Jim [James Loeb] liked Nina's house in Hamburg and that Jim continued on his trip to Athens; Jim gave him a letter of introduction from the Ministry of Defence to the commanding officer in Fort Wingate; Lieutenant Bryan is a wonderful man, Warburg enjoys his time in Fort Wingate; it may be that Bryan will accompany Warburg to the Zuni; the weather is not good, they have sandstorms; in the evening there will be an 'informal hop' [English in the original] and Warburg is looking forward to the dance party; sends greetings to his parents, is grateful for every letter from home, is interested in everything; sends greetings to Nina's husband
