Contentshopes that he enjoys his stay in Paris; Franziska [Jahns] has recovered from rubella; Fritz had an ear infection which meant that he could not study as much as he ought to have done; Nina's parents have left for Italy the previous day; Panina [Paul and Nina Warburg] want to meet them later on in Karlsbad; Schiffs will stay till 10/05/1897; Olga learns to ride a bicycle; is sorry that Helene [Schiff] will leave [return to Vienna?], Olga likes her; requests return of 'Memoiren einer Idealisten' [by Malwida von Meysenburg]; likes the 'Hamburg Pan', the colour prints by Eitner and [Arthur] Illies are very good; the 'Jahrbuch der Hamburger Kunstfreunde' is splendid; the opening of the garden exhibition was very impressive, cries 'Hammonia awakes!'
