Klages, mocks his 'esoteric thought religion'; Warburg does not like that Mary is not in close contact with Alice [Warburg]; approves of Klages's assessment of Marietta; is pleased that Mary likes [Wilhelmine] Niels company and that Emmy Jauch visits Mary; asks her to send 'Hamburgischer Correspondent'; Warburg spoke to Heinz [Heinrich] Sieveking, likes him, a man who is eager to fight, loves freedom, a true citizen from Hamburg; Warburg would not be surprised if both would publish in 'Hamburgisches Jahrbuch'; Heinz Sieveking and his wife are not totally happy about the move to Freiburg; Warburg is working on the Inventory volume number CIV in the state archive and is pleased how much more he can learn than thought at first; Warburg visited Mila Brock the previous day, Mila is painting Miss von Kehler; little Mila [that is, Milly Brockhaus] is pale, very clever and sweet; everybody tells stories of Dr. [Edgar] Kurz's incomtepence, of wrong diagnoses; only [Heinrich] Brockhaus [and family] continue to consult Kurz; is pleased that Mary has no problems with breastfeeding the baby; is pleased that the maid Anna helps Mary; Mary can dismiss Ottilie [cook] if she is lazy |
