Contentsapologizes for having sent a cable that he does not need to send silverware to Hamburg; she has enough of it in Hamburg; complains that he is impatient; Mary visited Warburg's parents, Moritz [Warburg] is busy because he is on his own in the bank; nowadays it is Mary and Julius [Derenberg] who play the role of 'Warburg children'; she read letters from the brothers in America, Puss [Nina Warburg] is happy, they have moved into their own house; Mary wrote to Miss [Hermine] Lüders and sent her a letter of recommendation for Nina [Warburg]; Mary and Käthe Embden went to Cassirer's to see the Woermann paintings; she liked his paintings; mentions [Adolf] Hildebrand and [Friedrich] Huch's book; continues on 10/12/1902: has Warburg done anything about having a cast of the Runge head made in Florence?; if not, she could give the light coloured cast, made by Bondi, as present and keep the dark coloured cast; is Mrs. [Jessie] Hillebrand in Florence?; reminds him that she has asked the same question three times; did he receive the box of sprats?
