| Contents | Uvo Hölscher will have given him information re Magister Thilling; Warburg will have difficulties finding material on the woodcarver who carved three beautiful houses in Goslar, Celle, c. 1532 and Braunschweig; there is a second house in Braunschweig, where the carver might have worked, Langestrasse 9, before 1536; beams of a third house, in Schulstrasse, are in the town museum; Meier is the owner of a chest, authenticated by Wilhelm Bode, as having been made for one of his ancestors, mayor Bode c. 1530; Meier can send photographs, if Warburg is interested; photographs of the Demmersche house are on sale from the art shop in Braunschweig; supplies bibliographical references |
