Contentsapproaches him with a research query; the Alte Pinakothek has purchased a portrait of the Sacrati family from Ferrara, which Gräff thinks is painted by Baldassare d'Este; forwards a photograph of the portrait; wants to know whether Warburg can attribute the coat-of-arms; is it really a Sacrati coat-of-arms?; the Sacrati palace in Ferrara was later called Sacrati-Strozzi palace; according to the garments painted, the painting can be attributed to the time from 1480 - 1485, after the painting of the frescoes of the Camera degli Sposi in 1474 and before Costa's painting of the Madonna with the family Bentivoglio, in S. Giacomo in Bologna in 1488; the portrait painting has also been attributed to [Cosmé] Tura by [Casimir von] Chledowski, [Fritz] Harck, [Adolfo] Venturi; encloses two coat-of-arms, requests help with attribution
