Contentsthanks her for a letter which Mary wrote on Friedel's birthday; they are still living in Pfaueninsel, her husband Paul only visits her and the two children twice a week; the money question has at long last been resolved in Rome, the furniture is going to be sent to Berlin; she does not think that they will move before New Year; they will move to Berlin, Oberwallstrasse 2, into a beautiful apartment with six rooms; her maid Toni left her on 01/11/1921; she is fortunate, though, as her niece is with her and is looking after the children; Paul suggested to go on holiday with little Hansel [Hans], but Liesel wants to join them; Liesel is attending a village school; asks Mary whether she could come and live with Mary Warburg in Hamburg; Paul might visit them in Hamburg at Christmas, as he will be en route to Kiel; offers to pay for her board in Hamburg
