Contentsshe had thought that Warburg was back in Hamburg and was shocked to read that he is still ill; she has written to him, but has not had a reply; she could visit him travelling from Basle to Kreuzlingen and return on the same day; she also wrote to [Ludwig] Binswanger who replied that Warburg would not like receiving visitors; commiserates Mary; she will write to Binswanger again, she knows him and would like to visit Warburg; thanks Mary for a letter and photographs of Detta [Marietta Warburg] and Frede; how is Max Adolph?; how does he like the stay in Holstein?; her husband has not been accepted back in his old shop, he started a new shop in Leipzig, but finds life very tough, does not allow his family to come and join him; he visits them every six weeks for two to three weeks; leaves the way open for his children to become Swiss; her daughter Christiana is 14, her son Peter is 13 years of age; Rudolf, Wulf is 10, Hans 7; suggests to Mary to visit Rohland's mother
