Contentsit is a year since they have left Hamburg; she often thinks of her friends; she and her brother speak often of Warburg and his family; is sorry to hear that he is in Kreuzlingen, Sanatorium Bellevue; thanks her for a copy of Warburg's Luther book; reminds her that Detta [Marietta Warburg] can stay with [Schumacher]'s in Cologne; her house is comfortable, but in a noisy street; her sister has great difficulties to get used to life in Cologne; living in Cologne presents many problems: the occupation and catholicism; is pleased that sanctions had been lifted; her brother is very busy with his plans for the expansion of the city; on a model for a new bridge, a stylistic mix between fortification and department store architecture; she is pursuing art historical research and wants to lecture in the winter; wonders how Alice Warburg is doing, did she like [the painting?] 'Kornwiese'?
