Contentsthanks him for letter; would have liked to hear Warburg and [Carl] Justi moan about Thode; informs him of the engagement of Dr. Walter Lenel with Miss Luise Borckenhagen, daughter of the Counter-Admiral [Ludwig] Borckenhagen in Kiel; Luise Borckenhagen is a friend of Mrs. [Gertrud] Embden; Mary has taken the children to Kösterberg, with the 'Herrenzug' [taxi] because it was very hot; in the evening they sat in the park at Kösterberg and watched a thunderstorm coming but it did not rain; Mary returned to the town in the evening; found a note by [Wilhelmine] Niels and a friendly note by [Paul] Crasemann explaining that Niels will be able to exhibit her paintings; the exhibition by [Hubert von] Herkomer [in Kunstverein] will only be shown in October, Niels will be able to show her paintings in September; Niels is happy, will go to Heligoland for one week; Niels has returned money to Wilhelm [Hertz]; Betty [Elisabeth Maria Franke] had a son in the previous night; on Warburg's travel plans, will he go to Brussels and Luttich?; Felix [Warburg] will go to Luttich; she will go to Kösterberg on 07/08/1905
