Contentsthanks him for cable which reached her at Kösterberg; the day was a wonderful summer's day; uncle Moritz [Moritz Nathan Oppenheim] and aunt Kätie [Katharina Oppenheim] were visiting, Malice [Max and Alice Warburg] and Paul Kohn-Speyer were there as well; they will dine at Luise's [Louise Derenberg's] and lunch next day at Alice Warburg's; Mary will go to aunt Malchen [Amalie Goldschmidt] on Jewish New Year's day; Mary will need to spend quite a bit of time on sorting out the Warburg household; her 'fat' brother has returned from Berlin and is going to Travemünde, but will join Mary on a day trip to the heath; he was not very happy with the negotiations he had with [B.] Dernburg; hopes that Warburg will find time to go to a Brahms concert when in Munich; Alida's [Kaemmerer] contact with the [Jauch] children has been severed, Paul Jauch has sent her a very impolite letter; Alida is unable to do anything, she has, however, still contact with (Dr. med.) Oberg; Mary will invite the Jauch children or first only Karl and tell Alida about them; Zippels invited Aby and Mary Warburg for dinner on 17/09/1909, Mary sent apologies
