Contents | hopes that he has received her welcome cable; is sorry that she cannot be with him in Rome; the long train journey must have been quite exhausting; thanks him for his letter from Berlin in which he thanked her for having helped him; this was the least she could do, it made her happy to help him; they only missed the opportunity to work together in the last few years, that's why she would like to be with him in Rome; Mrs. [Pia] Gelati-Schwarzkopf called in order to check the first pages of the translation with Mary; it is a difficult text for Gelati, but she is an intelligent woman; she will call at Mary's on Friday, 11/10/1912, with the completed translation and will then work on the next text; Fritz wants to read the end of the lecture, Mary sent him the last few pages and Fritz will forward them to Gelati; in the morning she visited Anna [Warburg], then Charlotte Warburg, who is very sad about Panina's [Paul and Nina Warburg's] departure; hopes that the weather is fine, no scirocco |
