Contentsforwards Saxl's letter; she will send her reply to him in Vienna, turning down his request for his family to come to Hamburg; she quoted the lack of food rations, ration books etc; also, she would have too little time for Warburg if she had to look after Mrs. Saxl and her children as well; Warburg should write to Saxl, in case he disagrees with Mary's answer; weather has turned rainy, but not cold; they have already packed Marietta's rucksack; next morning, very early, they will all accompany Detta [Marietta Warburg] to Gelbensande; Detta's period has not started, so that they have to reckon with the possibility that Marietta might return to Müritz; in the morning Mary and Detta went to West Müritz and visited Martha Schramm and Emmy O'Swald, who in turn will visit the Warburgs the next day; on Percy [Ernst] Schramm's training with machine guns; did Warburg know that he is an officer and that he wears the Hanseatenkreuz?; two days ago they saw an airship flying very low above the sea; hopes that the house looked clean upon Warburg's return; sends greetings to Miss Buchsbaum; acknowledges receipt of bathing cap
