Contents | thanks him for letter of 27/09/1917; Frede was full of consternation about Warburg's complaint, she was crying; Mary had warned her as well, not to let the birds [among them Cajetan] fly around her room freely; the others which escaped were Detta's [Marietta Warburg's] and Max Adolph's; they cannot stay at Kösterberg for a short holiday as Mrs. Reinert is going on holiday to her mother; it maybe that Travemünde might be the best place for a short holiday or with Miss Brandt in Gremsmühle?; the next day Mary plans an outing with Wegehaupts to Reinbek and Friedrichsruh; old father Benemann is visiting his three daughters, staying 3 to 4 days with each; the second peach harvest in her garden has started; Mary will send dinner suit, shirts and butter with Alice [Warburg] to Warburg |
