Contentsstill no sun, only grey skies; hopes that the weather is better in Fallingbostel, wishes them a good 'Seehundswetter', as 'uncle Ada' [Paul Seitz, husband of Ada Seitz, née Booth?] used to say; Hintze visited Mary, the civil marriage to Mr. Blauert will be next day, the church wedding later in Hohelufter Kirche; after three weeks she will return to work in the Warburg household; the maid Else went on holiday for three days; Else has worked well, she has also done Emma's work, she worked with the goats, etc., so that Mary has given her higher wages; the gardener, Sägert, has planted turnips, kohlrabi; Mr. Ernst will clear up the woodshed, the building plot and repair the fence to the stable which the goats have trampled down; Warburg is living from day to day, newspapers do not give him reason to be calm; hopes that he will decide soon on a venue where he can spend his holidays; Mary cannot leave as yet, should she send butter, money?; sends greetings to 'Zwester' [Nurse Helene Peters]
