Contents | the move from Godeffroystrasse [to Marialuisenstrasse] has been completed; Wilhelm [Hertz] is still sleeping in Heilwigstrasse, as is the Nanny Miss Krüger and Kläsecke; Bertha has left, Mrs. Krieg is doing the cooking, but no longer also for the Wilhelm Hertz family/Maria-Luisen-Strasse; Mrs. Krieg and Frede are cleaning the ground floor, Grete [Kapfer] and Dühren the rest; Grete Kapfer also helps; Mamsell is still in hospital, on her return she will not be able to work right away; the apartment in Maria-Luisen-Strasse is beautiful; aunt Lene [Magdalene Hertz], however, has still not moved; she might move into a small flat as an interim solution; Wilhelm [Hertz] will go with her to Lübeck in order to view the interim flat; Mary will have to help with the move to Lübeck, Lene is unable to do so with only her son Walther and a maid; on making rhubarb compote without sugar; what about the brochures [for the children's sanatorium], has Irmgard sent them to Lilli Meyer-Wedell, Dr. Otto Meyer and others?; on 01/05/1921 they all had lunch in Fährhaus, very good, the young people started to dance, Carl, Lola; uncle Felix [Warburg] stays with grandmother [Charlotte Warburg], aunt Frieda [Warburg] and Edward [Warburg] have gone to Frankfurt; Frieda has presented Frede with a broach; what does Marietta want?; hopes that grandmother will donate foodstuffs for Festenburg; Warburg and Nurse Frieda [Hecht] sent letters; Warburg is pleased with Marietta's work in the Harz mountains; Warburg has good days and then very bad days; Nurse Frieda reports very well; [Heinrich] Embden will travel with Mathilde [Embden] to Oberstdorf and then visit Warburg on his return trip; on the dance evening of Hannelore Ziegler; they all went, but Mary did not like her as much as Falke Sisters, Mary Wigmann; Ziegler, however, has a sense of humour and temperament |
