[Mary] Wigmann; she went for a walk, on the walls of Bremen, everybody is walking because of the tramway strikes; she had to have her sandals repaired; Liselotte [Dehmel] has returned, she will work in the operating theatre after Marietta; Marietta will then move to the men's ward; stresses work in the operating theatre, is impressed how much there is to learn about sterilisation; Dr. Riedel explains things during the opeations; she does not like Dr. Amos as much, he was a member of a duelling student fraternity; Dr. Martens is a scholar, very thorough; reminds her of Warburg; Marietta does not feel nauseated when looking at operations, bad smells, though, effect her sometimes; wants to receive news of Fontenay 5 [Fritz and Anna Warburg] as soon as possible [birth of Charlotte Esther Warburg, called Noni]; is pleased that Hübners have left, although it must have been lovely hearing so much music in the house; on the mice infestation in her room; she cannot get to Hamburg before Easter, could Max Adolph visit her in Bremen?; sends greetings to Miss A. Dühren, aunt Clara [Hertz?], Maria-Louisen, [Miss Lore] Arnheim; Frede should send greetings to Alice Ruperti, Alice Hammerich, Ursula [Falke]; tells her to tell Ursula that Marietta is only capable of running up and down stairs |
