Contents | they have travelled well, were warmly welcomed by Landeshauptmann [Ludwig] von der Wense [?] and his son who is a painter; weather is bad, rainy; supplies a list of items to be sent to him by post; asks her to be the hostess for the [M. Breslauer] lecture on 24/09/1927 and Max Adolph, if he is in Hamburg; on the 'case Bing': the children do not want that he discusses family matters with Bing; but, it is only due to Bing that he developed a well-meaning neutrality towards his children; since the 'catastrophe of Partenkirchen' he has been sorely tempted to shut off communication with them completely, but Bing has the will to treat him carefully, in contrast to his family; massive complaints against Mary; she has not even used 'the thin bridge of the diary' for communicating with Warburg; Heinsheimer was satisfied with Warburg's state of health |
