Contents	thanks for Bingia's [Gertrud Bing's] report and an illustrated newspaper; Mary read the letter out to Alice [Warburg] who was very interested in it; she attended the Friday evening meal on 22/02/1929 at Malice's [Max and Alice Warburg], but could not read out Warburg's letters, there were too many people there, Schumachers, [Rudolf] Petersen and wife, Gustav Pauli and wife [Magdalena Pauli]; Gustav Pauli spoke the whole evening about his trip to America; [H] Kees was in Hamburg only for one night, departed on the Sunday after his lecture; he did not even visit the KBW, Saxl is very angry; the lecture was well attended, though, Nochts, [Carl Friedrich Michael] Meinhof, Thilenius, 'Rotkäppchens'; Thilenius wanted to know when Warburg will return so that he could discuss with thim the Amerikanistenkongress
