Contentsacknowledges receipt of his card to Max Adolph; although she has already spoken to Warburg on the phone she is writing a short letter; the parliament is meeting in Stuttgart, train links still unsatisfactory; on unrest in the country, Kapp, putsch, etc.; on the domestic staff, she has employed a maid and now only needs a new cook and housekeeper; the bridal couple, Ellen Julia Warburg and Plauth [Theodor Plaut] will visit Charlotte Warburg later in the day and it is also the day of Frede's performance at school; next day she will sit her final exams; Mary spoke with Mrs. Heise who is very pleased that [her son] Carl Georg got the post in Lübeck; Mary and Max Adolph [Warburg] went to the Paula Modersohn exhibition of the Kunstverein in Kunsthalle; she saw beautiful paintings, mothers and babies; a small painting of a nude child, which belonged to Mrs. [Maria?] Benemann, is for sale for Mark 82,000; if Modersohn had realized such prices in her lifetime, she would have been surprised!; the work of painting the façade of the house is making good progress; acknowledges receipt of six postcards from Warburg
