ContentsFelix's visit has been announced for the next day; wonders whether his son Frederick [Warburg] will come with him; hopes that Mary and Frede will be in Hamburg when this letter will be delivered; the letter by Bing made a very good impression on him, both with regard to scholarship and from a human point of view; she wrote about her aunt Emmy Jonas, née Jensen; remembers her well as well as Annie Udewald; Warburg tried to talk to Ludwig Binswanger, wants to be released from the sanatorium; Binswanger did not meet Wilhelm [Hertz], but will meet Felix, but Warburg is certain that he will not be given any written document to that effect; is waiting for Mary's report of Heise's wedding; is feeling poorly, hair are long, he was weighed again, all sorts of harassment; is waiting for news from Wilhelm, despite his poscard from Radolfszell; fears that 'they' have kept Wilhelm in the sanatorium; has Mary got his letter in which he wrote about prophesying insects?; he stepped on a spider and felt dreadful about it; there is a 'supranaturalistic connection' between humans and animals and whoever has realized it will end up in inferno; thanks her for report of [Carl Georg] Heise wedding, would have liked to attend with Mary; did she wear her heart - shaped jewellery?; wonders whether he will ever see Mary again; he only sees that their relationship is being destroyed by the Satans
